OCTIPS (OCTIPS—Ovarian Cancer Therapy – Innovative Models Prolong Survival) is a FP7 research Project funded by the European Commission started at the beginning of 2012. The project aims at identifying molecular characteristics of recurrent ovarian cancer and developing new therapeutic strategies in innovative model systems. The consortium contains eleven organisations from Europe and Israel, among which six are universities, three are small and medium enterprises, and one is non-profit research organisation. The project is planned for four years and the total funding sum is about 3 million EURO. Medical University of Vienna is the coordinator.
